Abstract: The methods and contents of scientific investigation on engineering seismic damage after the earthquake are introduced. The seismic damage data of Dujiangyan, which is a seriously disastrous area in Sichuan, are analyzed and summarized. By analyzing the data and images, the evolution of buildings anti-seismic performance under different seismic norms of different periods, analysis on the anti-seismic performance difference between different forms of structures, the reasons for the differences are presented. The characteristics of the destruction of structures with different stories are included. The characteristics of seismic damage of structures in this earthquake are summed up.
