Fundamental damages and seismic fortification measures for the underground structures in the lugh intensity areas

Abstract: Typical earthquake damages of underground structures in the Wenchuan earthquake are reviewed with some systematical analyses, through the investigation ofunderground structures in the high intensity areas. Seismic fortification measures for the underground structures in the high intensity areas are proposed for the reference of further design and construction.
