Abstract: In the process of reconstruction or expansion of the old plant, it is often encountered that excavation for the new equipment foundation is carried out without stopping the production or that the depth of the excavation is deeper than the adjacent existing foundation. Therefore, the safety and rationality of the excavation supporting become a key point for the smooth implementation of the project. The key points and design principles of the excavation supporting plan for the foundation of the coiling machine were described, which can provide reference for the design and construction for similar projects.
