The frame are composed of steel beams and concrete filled circular steel tubular columns. A new type composite wall which is RC wall with end concrete filled rectangular steel tubular columns is used in the construction of the core. Based on the conceptual design, the seismic performance targets of the structure were determined. Elasto-plastic time history analysis indicated that the structure design can reach the performance targets. The wind tunnel experiment results were used to study the performance of the structure under wind loads.
