（西安建筑科技大學(xué) 710055）[提要] 直接強度法(DSM)是一種不采用有效截面而取用全截面對冷彎薄壁型鋼構(gòu)件進行設(shè)計的全新方法。該法可計算冷彎薄壁型鋼板件屈曲后的構(gòu)件承載力，還可計算畸變屈曲構(gòu)件的承載力。介紹了直接強度法的基本概念、發(fā)展現(xiàn)狀、研究成果和設(shè)計方法等。用實例說明了直接強度法的計算過程，供設(shè)計研究參考。
