The design and constructional measures of build-up space grid for the control room and switchboard room located at both ends of a building are generally presented.The control room and switchboard room are both large space structures with equipment pipes of large section disposing in structural floor, which need to bear the action of explosive load l0kN/m². Therefore, bolt-ringed spherical node build-up space grid, 1 800mm high, supported at four sides, is applied to this building after comparisons of several schemes.
