[提要]  在福州市吉祥大廈的基礎(chǔ)設(shè)計(jì)中，通過全面分析場(chǎng)地地基土的特點(diǎn)及主樓的結(jié)構(gòu)特征，趨利避害，打破常規(guī)，用少量的樁調(diào)平因地基復(fù)雜及上部荷載不均勻所造成的超限差異沉降，取得了良好的效果。

The design of foundation of a tall building is described, which fully analyses the on-site soils characteristics and the structural features of the main building. In the design,the authors make good use of favorable condition and evade unfavorable elements as well as aclopt special methods. Only a few balance settlement piles are applied to overcome the excessive differential settlement caused by complex foundation and uneven loads of superstructure.The design results in good effects.
