Based on summarizing the construction and installation procedure of friction-energy-dissipation-brace-device that had been used in a practical engineering, the mechanism of its function is been analyzed in detail, the measures to improve the conditions of the device's construction and installation are put forward,all advice can accelerate the process of the device's industrialization.
