[摘要]  傳統(tǒng)木構(gòu)架土坯墻（土筑墻）房屋，在地震過程中，墻體會(huì)發(fā)生平面外的傾覆倒塌破壞。對(duì)墻體傾覆倒塌的過程進(jìn)行了分析，通過建立墻體平面外傾覆倒塌簡(jiǎn)化分析模型，得到了使墻體傾覆倒塌的最小加速度公式，給出了影響墻體傾覆倒塌的各個(gè)因素和最小加速度的關(guān)系曲線，初步得到了在不同地震烈度下避免墻體平面外傾覆的高厚比限值，并就如何避免墻體在地震中發(fā)生傾覆倒塌進(jìn)行了探討。

    Limit of height-width ratio of surrounding earth wall under earthquake

Abstract: The rural houses are usually made of timber frame with surrounding earth wall. The wall will collapse out-of-plane during earthquake. A simplified method is presented for modeling the out-of-plane collapse behaviours of such surrounding wall. The minimum acceleration which causes the collapse is formulated. The curves describing the relationship between the factors causing the collapsing and the minimum acceleration are aslo presented. Finally, the limit of shape coefficient and height-width ratio, which are the most important factors controlling the collapsing of the wall are gjven, and the measures on how to avoid the wall collapsing are discussed.
