Abstract:The 1/35 scaled model of frame-supported shear wall structure with weakly connected slabs in A1 tower building of Foshan Plaza was tested by shaking table simulation. The dynamic characteristics and failure modes of the model were discussed. The acceleration, displacement response and strain response of key parts of the model were analyzed under 7-degree frequent, 7-degree basic and 7-degree rare earthquakes. The test results show that the substructures on both sides of the weakly connected slabs of the test model undergo inverse phase motion under earthquake action, and are destroyed under several 7-degree rare earthquakes. The interlayer displacement angle of the test model basically meets the requirements of the code. It is suggested that the strength and ductility of the weakly connected slab and the substructures on both sides of the corridor should be properly strengthened and the whipping effect of the top floor should be fully considered, and the structural response under the velocity pulse earthquake should be investigated.
Keywords:high-rise building; partially frame-supported shear wall structures; weakly connected slab; shaking table test; seismic behavior
