Abstract: Recently more and more structural strengthening appears in construction programs. Architectures need to solve the problems such as how to choose the reasonable strengthening  methods or reinforcement projects. Architectures were required to understand the basic laws of strengthening of structure and characters of load-carrying capability，and to be familiar with the characters, application scopes and key point of renforcement methods, so as to make a reasonable choice.
