南部非洲紅砂地基工程特性初探

[摘要]南部非洲紅砂是一種問題土。針對(duì)安哥拉首都羅安達(dá)和莫桑比克首都馬普托紅砂,收集、分析了淺層平板載荷試驗(yàn)、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)貫入試驗(yàn)資料和室內(nèi)試驗(yàn)資料。給出了目前取得的初步分析成果,該紅砂具有濕陷性,其孔隙比大,干密度小,表現(xiàn)為天然狀態(tài)時(shí)強(qiáng)度高,浸濕時(shí)則強(qiáng)度明顯軟化,即因濕化而致沉陷量明顯加大,因而容易出現(xiàn)由于管道滲漏而導(dǎo)致建筑物出現(xiàn)過大的不均勻沉降量。本研究可為巖土工程師和結(jié)構(gòu)工程師正確把握紅砂地基工程特性提供幫助。[關(guān)鍵詞]南部非洲; 紅砂; 濕陷性; 工程特性; 試驗(yàn)研究中圖分類號(hào):TU441+.3 文獻(xiàn)標(biāo)識(shí)碼:A 文章編號(hào):1002-848X(2015)18-0105-03
Preliminary discussion on geotechnical characteristics of red sand in southern AfricaSun Hongwei, Dong Qin, Shi Feng(Beijing Institute of Architectural Design, Beijing 100045, China)Abstract: Red sand in southern Africa is a kind of problematic soil. Experimental data of shallow plate load tests, standard penetration tests and lab tests were collected and analyzed for the red sand in Angola′s capital Luanda and Mozambique′s capital Maputo. Preliminary analysis results were provided. Results show that the red sand is one kind of collapsible soil with large void ratio and small dry density, and its strength is higher when keeping natural water content and is obviously lower when getting wet. The wetting causes significantly increased subsidence, so excessive uneven settlement of buildings would occur as a result of pipe leaking. The study can provide help for soil engineers and structural engineers to understand the geotechnical characteristics of red sand.Keywords: southern Africa; red sand; collapsibility; geotechnical characteristic; experimental research
