Dep.,Tongji University,Shanghai 200092,China)Abstract:The large conference center of the African Union Conference Center project is composed of the main reinforced concrete platform,perimeter steel structure and the truss strengthened single-layer latticed steel roof. It mainly presents the analysis and design of the large conference hall. The action evaluation,foundation and structural design,static and dynamic analysis,plastoelastic analysis,buckling analysis and steel connection design are fully addressed.
